If there is one thing we love about Portugal it's its typical multicoloured tiles. With this workshop you'll have the opportunity to decorate one yourself - you'll become a real artist!
Tile Decorating Workshop
At the scheduled time, we'll welcome you to the tile workshop, located in Paços de Brandão, less than 15 minutes drive from Santa Maria da Feira.
We'll begin the experience with a brief introduction to the technique used by the craftsmen themselves, a task with over five centuries of history. Before starting, we'll view some pieces made by the masters as examples for your own design.
You can decorate your own tile using one or several colours, with either an abstract or figurative design. This is your opportunity to express your creativity while painting.
After you finish, we'll place the tiles in the kiln while you enjoy a delicious snack. If you wish, we can send the tiles to your home as a souvenir. After an hour and a half, we'll conclude the workshop and say goodbye.
