Huatulco Food Tour

At 10 am, pickup will be at your hotel in Huatulco. This tour focuses on the flavors and traditions of Mexico.

We will travel to Piedra de Moros, a small community near Huatulco, to explore the local culture. The tour starts with a visit to a herbalist's shop, where we will learn about the role of medicinal plants in the local culture. This includes a visit to the plantation to understand the various medicinal plants, their cures, and uses.

Next, we will have a culinary experience in the kitchen, where we will learn to prepare corn tortillas and bread traditionally. Participants will enjoy lemon grass tea and learn about the nutritional benefits of nopal cactus.

The tour also includes a visit to a mezcal factory to observe the distillation process of this traditional Oaxacan drink. The experience will conclude with tasting different mezcals and creams, paired with regional products.

We will return to your hotel in Huatulco and conclude the tour at approximately 2 pm.
