Huatulco Food Tour

At 10 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Huatulco. This tour will explore the flavours and traditions of Mexico.

We'll travel to Piedra de Moros, a community near Huatulco. Upon arrival, we will first visit a herbalist's shop to learn about the role of medicinal plants in local culture. This will include a visit to the plantation to understand the different medicinal plants cultivated, their healing properties, and uses.

Following this, we will engage in a culinary experience, learning to make corn tortillas and bread in the traditional manner. Participants will enjoy lemon grass tea and learn about the nutritional properties of nopal cactus.

Next, we will visit a mezcal factory to learn about the distillation process of this traditional Oaxacan drink. The tour will conclude with a tasting of various mezcals and creams paired with local products.

We will return to your hotel in Huatulco, concluding the tour at approximately 2 pm.
