Huatulco Mezcal Tour

This mezcal tour in Huatulco includes a visit to agave fields and a tasting of various mezcal types. The tour begins with a pickup at 9 am at your hotel in Huatulco, followed by a 40-minute drive to Santa María Huatulco.

Upon arrival, participants will visit an agave field to learn about the cultivation of the mezcal-producing plant and its origins. A hike to Loma Bonita will provide views of the expansive valley where agave plants thrive, benefiting from favorable climatic conditions in Oaxaca.

Next, the tour proceeds to the palenque, where distillates are produced. Participants will have the opportunity to taste traditional and medicinal Oaxacan mezcals.

The tour includes lunch, featuring beans, white rice, and black and red mole with chicken (either leg or thigh). Beverages include coffee or fruit-flavored water, as per preference.

Concluding at approximately 2 pm, the tour will return participants to their hotel in Huatulco.
