Huatulco Mezcal Tour

“Para todo mal, mezcal, y para todo bien, también.” This phrase celebrates mezcal for all occasions. We will pick you up at 9 am at your hotel in Huatulco and head north.

After a 40-minute drive, we will arrive in Santa María Huatulco. Here, we will visit an agave field and learn about the cultivation of the plant that produces mezcal. We will discover the origins of this Mexican distillate.

Next, we will hike to Loma Bonita to view the extensive valley where agave plants grow, benefiting from favorable climatic conditions in Oaxaca.

After enjoying the views, we will head to the palenque, where the distillates are made. We will take part in a tasting of Oaxacan mezcals, including both traditional and medicinal varieties.

Following the tasting, we will have lunch consisting of beans, white rice, black and red mole, and a portion of chicken (choice of leg or thigh) accompanied by coffee or fruit-flavored water.

After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Huatulco, arriving at 2 pm.
