December 20

At 4 pm we'll pick you up at your hotel in Huatulco for a trip to La Ventanilla beach. Welcome to the winter solstice ceremony!

Upon arrival, we will learn about the celebration of the solstice, which in the northern hemisphere marks the change of season and the length of nights. In this town, it signifies the beginning of a new cycle.

A shaman will guide us through a unique ritual, explaining the importance and cultural impact of this ceremony. We will also release a turtle into the sea while drums play, bidding farewell to the sun and welcoming the longest night of the year. It will be a memorable experience!

After 6 hours, we will return to your hotel in Huatulco.

December 21

At 3:30 am, we will depart from your hotel in Huatulco to head to La Ventanilla beach.

There, we will be welcomed by drum music and conch shell sounds to begin the winter solstice ceremony. We will settle on the beach to watch the sunrise and observe the sun crossing the famous Ventanilla rock.

Following sunrise, we will join the ceremony with the shaman and celebrate the new cycle with the local children's cultural group. We will conclude with breakfast at a seaside restaurant before returning to the hotel in Huatulco.
