Day Trip Details

You will be picked up at your hotel in Huatulco and embark on a 2-hour drive to Puerto Escondido. The first stop will be a local chocolate factory for 30 minutes, featuring a tasting of mezcal, cured meats, mole, sal de gusano, and chocolate.

Next, a visit to the Benito Juárez market will provide 1.5 hours of free time to explore local products and crafts. Afterward, you will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at a typical restaurant, with recommendations for regional cuisine, including seafood and Oaxacan mole.

Following lunch, you will spend 1 hour at Playa Carrizalillo, enjoying swimming or relaxation. After this, a 1-hour visit to the famous Playa Zicatela will allow for a stroll or refreshments at beachside restaurants.

Optionally, you may visit the Adoquín area or participate in an exciting turtle release for an additional fee. The trip concludes with a return to Huatulco after 11 hours.
