Live two unique experiences in Puerto Escondido: free recently hatched turtles, and enjoy the spectacle of bioluminescence in the Manialtepec lagoon.

Turtle Release + Laguna de Manialtepec Evening Tour

After picking you up from your hotel at the scheduled time, we will travel towards Puerto Escondido, a journey of 2 hours and 30 minutes, arriving at the turtle camp dedicated to the protection of sea turtles.

Here, you will participate in the freeing of recently hatched turtles. There are three types of turtles native to Oaxaca that are endangered, and this will be an opportunity to contribute to their survival. At sunset on a picturesque beach, it promises to be a memorable moment.

We will then proceed to the Manialtepec Lagoon, where the second unique experience awaits. You will board a boat to explore the lagoon and observe the natural phenomenon of bioluminescence.

This phenomenon occurs due to microorganisms in the water that emit light when disturbed by movement. The effect resembles shooting stars beneath the sea. You may swim in the lagoon, witnessing your body illuminated by these organisms.

The tour concludes back at your hotel in Huatulco nine hours after departure.
