Make the most of your time in Cordoba to explore Alta Gracia, a town surrounded by nature. You'll discover an emblematic hotel, a Jesuit legacy and you'll be able to enter the homes of two historical figures. There's so much to see here!
Day Trip to Alta Gracia
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Cordoba and head towards Alta Gracia, approximately 50 minutes away. Along the way, there will be a stop at the Miryam Stefford Monument to learn about this actress.
Upon arrival in Alta Gracia, we'll visit the Tajamar, an artificial lake created by the Jesuits, and the Jesuit Museum, which highlights the community's influence on the town. The Archeological Museum will also be part of our visit.
Next, we will explore the center of Alta Gracia, including the church of Nuestra Señora de la Merced. We will then visit Villa Nydia, the Che Guevara House Museum, where we can see rooms from his childhood and a replica of his motorcycle.
Following this, we'll go to the house of Manuel de Falla, now a museum featuring five rooms with personal items, furniture, books, photographs, and original sheet music by the composer.
The final stop will be at the Virgin of Lourdes Grotto, a site for prayer. After the tour, we will return to Cordoba, dropping you off at your hotels approximately four hours after pickup.
