Day Trip to Alta Gracia

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Cordoba for a trip to Alta Gracia, about 50 minutes away. On the way, we'll stop at the Miryam Stefford Monument to learn about this famous actress.

In Alta Gracia, we'll visit the Tajamar, an artificial lake created by the Jesuits, and the Jesuit Museum to explore the influence of this religious community. We'll also visit the Archeological Museum.

We'll continue through the center of Alta Gracia, stopping at the church of Nuestra Señora de la Merced. Then, we’ll visit Villa Nydia, the Che Guevara House Museum, where we will see rooms from his childhood and documents related to his life, including a replica of his motorcycle.

Next, we'll visit the house of Manuel de Falla, now a museum showcasing personal items and sheet music from the composer. Our last stop will be the Virgin of Lourdes Grotto, a site for prayer. We will return to Cordoba, dropping you off at your hotels about four hours after pickup.
