Day Trip to Alta Gracia
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Cordoba, and head towards Alta Gracia, around 50 minutes away. We'll stop at the Miryam Stefford Monument to learn about this actress.
Once in Alta Gracia, we'll visit the Tajamar, an artificial lake built by the Jesuits, and the Jesuit Museum to understand the influence of this religious community in the town. Additionally, we'll visit the Archeological Museum.
Next, we'll explore the center of Alta Gracia, visiting the church of Nuestra Señora de la Merced. Then, we’ll go to Villa Nydia, the Che Guevara House Museum, where we’ll see the rooms he grew up in, documents, letters, and a replica of his motorcycle from his journey across America.
We will also visit the house of Manuel de Falla, a museum filled with personal items, furniture, books, and photographs from the composer’s life, including his sheet music.
Our last stop will be at the Virgin of Lourdes Grotto, a site for prayer. The trip ends as we return to Cordoba, dropping you off at your hotels approximately four hours after pickup.
