History, culture and religion combine on this tour of the Jesuit Block and Estancias of Cordoba. You'll travel back to the 17th century and discover how the Society of Jesus monks lived and learn about their influence on the community.

Jesuit Block and Estancias of Cordoba Tour

Picks up will be from your hotel in Cordoba at 9 am to start the tour of the emblematic Society of Jesus buildings. The Jesuit Block and Estancias of Cordoba are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour highlights their cultural significance and their connection to the history of Argentina.

First, we will visit the city of Colonia Caroya and the Estancia Caroya Museum, the first estancia of the Jesuits in the area. Next, we will head to the Jesús María Estancia, home to the Jesuit Estancia de San Isidro el Labrador, where we will learn about the religious history and their wine-making practices.

A 30-minute travel will take us to the Santa Catalina Estancia, founded in 1622, known for its white façade and natural setting. Here, we will explore the Society of Jesus' lifestyle and visit a Baroque-style historical church.

After some free time for lunch, we will return to Cordoba, passing through towns such as Ascochinga, La Granja, or Villa Animi, with drop-offs at your hotels around 7 pm.
