Jesuit Block and Estancias of Cordoba Tour

Pickup from your hotel in Cordoba is at 9 am to begin the tour of the emblematic Society of Jesus buildings, which are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour highlights their cultural significance and historical relationship with Argentina.

The first stop is the city of Colonia Caroya, where we'll visit the Estancia Caroya Museum. This site includes the rooms of the mansion that housed the monks in the 17th century, marking the first estancia of the Jesuits in the area.

Next, we'll proceed to the Jesús María Estancia, home to the Jesuit Estancia de San Isidro el Labrador. This stone building features insights into the lives of the religious community and the mills and land used for wine production.

A 30-minute journey will lead us to the Santa Catalina Estancia, founded in 1622, known for its white façade and natural surroundings. This site includes a Baroque-style historical church and further information on the Society of Jesus' lifestyle.
