Day Trip to Filicudi and Alicudi

Join us at the port of Santa Marina Salina 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure, where we will board a boat to embark on our journey through the Aeolian archipelago for an exciting day!

As we cruise along the Tyrrhenian Sea, take in the breathtaking sights of the volcanic islands that dot the Aeolian landscape. If fortune smiles upon us, we might spot dolphins and sea turtles swimming nearby, so keep your eyes open!

Upon arrival, you may choose to plunge into the refreshing waters of Cape Gratian or become enchanted by the charming village of Pecorini a Mare, where you can savor a seaside lunch at any of its delightful local dining spots.

Afterward, we will gather once more at the boat to head towards Alicudi, the most remote island of the archipelago and also the least populated region in Italy, characterized by its rugged landscape.

Alicudi presents several hiking opportunities that enable you to experience the astonishing natural beauty of the island. For the more adventurous, the trek to San Bartolo Church rewards climbers with breathtaking panoramic vistas. From this vantage point, 330 meters (1,082 feet) above sea level, you can enjoy a sweeping view of the entire Aeolian archipelago.

If you prefer a leisurely experience, consider spending your time relaxing on the beach and swimming in the clear, inviting waters.

Before we return to Santa Marina Salina, we will make a quick stop at Filicudi to admire La Canna, a majestic volcanic rock soaring over 70 meters (229 feet) from the ocean floor, sure to leave you in awe.

After a full day of exploration spanning approximately 9 hours, we will head back to our original point, concluding our memorable adventure.
