Abseiling in the Minca River Waterfalls

Unleash your adventurous side abseiling in waterfalls in Minca River and enjoy a hiking route through Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

Description

At the specified time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta. We will travel by minibus to the mountainous countryside of the Magdalena region for a full day of adventure.

Before reaching the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, we'll stop at a viewpoint to enjoy a view of the Caribbean Sea.

Upon arrival, we'll have a coffee with chocolate bread before starting the 45-minute hiking route through the rainforest known as Vereda Montecristo.

During our exploration, we will observe coffee plantations and arrive at a beautiful waterfall in Minca River, which is more than 100 metres tall (330 feet).

Next, we will receive safety instructions and prepare for abseiling the waterfalls in Minca River for about 15 minutes, depending on individual skills. We will descend approximately 40 metres (130 feet) to a pool for a refreshing dip.

A delicious lunch will be provided, including salad, a main dish with a side, and a drink. After lunch, we will begin our hike back.

To conclude, we'll visit a coffee and cocoa museum before returning to your hotel after 9 hours of activity.
