Abseiling in the Minca River Waterfalls

Unleash your adventurous side abseiling in waterfalls in the Minca River and enjoy a hiking route through the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta. We will travel to the mountainous countryside of the Magdalena region for a full day of adventure. Before reaching the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, we'll stop at a viewpoint for a view of the Caribbean Sea.

Upon arrival, we'll enjoy coffee accompanied by chocolate bread before starting a 45-minute hiking route through the rainforest called Vereda Montecristo. During the hike, we will hear birds and see coffee plantations before arriving at a waterfall in the Minca River, which is over 100 meters tall (330 feet)!

Next, we'll proceed with abseiling. After receiving basic safety instructions, we will descend the waterfall for about 15 minutes, depending on your skills, descending 40 meters (130 feet) to reach a pool for a refreshing dip.

A delicious lunch will be provided, which includes salad, a main dish with a side, and a drink. After lunch, we'll begin our hike back.

Finally, we'll visit a coffee and cocoa museum, and after 9 hours of activity, we will return to Santa Marta and drop you off at your hotel.
