At 5.30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel and head to the dock of Islas del Rosario. The tour includes a boat ride through the Cienaga Grande de Santa Marta, a World Biosphere Reserve located a few kilometers from Cienaga.

Admire the varied vegetation and wildlife, lush trails, and lagoons that comprise the swamp. Along the lagoons, small fishing villages known as ''pueblitos palafitos'' (small stilt housing villages) will be visible.

The tour will stop in one village to learn about the lifestyle and ancestral customs of its inhabitants. Afterward, enjoy a traditional meal featuring fish or vegetables to taste local cuisine.

Finally, board the minibus for the return to Santa Marta, arriving at 2.30 pm.
