Hiking in the Minca Jungle

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta in a comfortable vehicle that will bring us to Minca for a full day! After an hour's drive, we'll start a two-hour hike through the jungle of Minca, enjoying the area's lush vegetation and learning about the biodiversity of Santa Marta.

We'll stop at a 'hacienda' or estate to discuss the preparation of coffee and its derivatives, with an opportunity to drink freshly brewed coffee. Afterwards, we will visit the El Oído del Mundo waterfall for a refreshing swim.

After the hike, we will head to a bamboo house for a gourmet lunch featuring vegetables, meat, side dishes, and aguapanela, an infusion from hardened sugar cane juice, complemented by views of the Minca jungle.

After lunch, enjoy a sweet treat as we learn about the cocoa drink preparation process, with a tasting included. Following a total of 8 hours of activities, we'll return to Santa Marta and drop you off at your hotel.
