Santa Marta, Cabo de la Vela & Riohacha 4-day Package Tour

Day 1: Santa Marta

We will pick you up at Santa Marta airport or your hotel and drop off your luggage in El Rodadero. Then, we’ll cruise the Colombian Caribbean to Playa Blanca by speedboat, followed by a traditional lunch at a beach restaurant. Enjoy the afternoon relaxing on the beach before returning to the hotel for dinner. The day concludes with a night tour of Santa Marta on a chiva rumbera.

Day 2: Santa Marta - Cabo de la Vela

The second day involves traveling to the peninsula of La Guajira, taking over six hours. We will stop for breakfast in Palomino, transition to a 4x4 vehicle in Riohacha, and visit the salt flats of Manaure. After crossing the Ahuyama desert, we’ll arrive at Cabo de la Vela, have lunch, and hike to the Pilón de Azúcar. You’ll have leisure time at Playa Dorada and Playa Ojo de Agua before dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Cabo de la Vela - Riohacha

Following breakfast, we’ll depart for the beaches of Mayapo and visit the Maliiwala refuge to learn about local indigenous traditions. After lunch and some relaxation, we’ll proceed to Riohacha for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Riohacha - Santa Marta

We start with breakfast, then head to Los Flamencos Natural Park for a boat exploration of the lagoons, where you can observe wild birds. The tour concludes with a drop-off at downtown Santa Marta or the airport, with an option to finish at Riohacha's airfield.
