Santa Marta, Cabo de la Vela & Riohacha 4-day Package Tour

Day 1: Santa Marta

Upon arrival, we will pick you up at the Santa Marta airport or your hotel and head to El Rodadero to drop off your luggage. We will board a speedboat for a cruise through the Colombian Caribbean to Playa Blanca, followed by a traditional lunch at a beachfront restaurant. The afternoon is free for beach activities. In the evening, enjoy dinner and a night tour of Santa Marta on a chiva rumbera.

Day 2: Santa Marta - Cabo de la Vela

The second day focuses on traveling into the peninsula of La Guajira, taking more than six hours with planned stops. Breakfast will be in Palomino, then we will change vehicles in Riohacha for a 4x4 journey. We will visit the salt flats of Manaure and cross the Ahuyama desert to arrive at Cabo de la Vela. Lunch will be followed by a hike to Pilón de Azúcar, with free time at Playa Dorada and Playa Ojo de Agua before dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Cabo de la Vela - Riohacha

After breakfast, we will depart for the beaches of Mayapo and visit the Maliiwala refuge to learn about indigenous traditions. After lunch and some sunbathing time, we will head to Riohacha for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Riohacha - Santa Marta

Following breakfast, we will leave downtown Riohacha for Los Flamencos Natural Park. We will board a boat to explore the lagoons and observe wild birds. The tour concludes with drop-off at Santa Marta's downtown or airport, or alternatively at Riohacha's airfield.
