At the time of booking, you can choose where in the Santa Marta district you'd like to learn the secrets of Colombian coffee:

La Cafetera Farm Coffee Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and drive to the Minca sector. We'll ascend a mountain, transitioning from dry forest to rainforest, arriving at the Y viewpoint at 1,200 meters above sea level, offering views of Santa Marta and La Ciénaga Grande.

We will visit the La Cafetera coffee farm to learn about the coffee-making process from planting to cup. Following the tour, we'll return to Minca for lunch and visit the Coastal Coffee Growers Cooperative, Caficosta, where we will enjoy a demonstration of coffee beverage preparation and a coffee tasting.

After around 8 hours, we'll drop you off at your hotel.

La Candelaria Coffee Farm Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and start the tour from Santa Marta. We'll stop briefly in Minca, then proceed to the La Candelaria coffee farm to learn about different coffee varieties and the processes of germination, cultivation, and harvesting.

We'll learn about Colombian coffee and return to Minca for a typical lunch. Afterwards, we will visit the Coastal Coffee Growers Cooperative, Caficosta to learn about roasting processes, see a demonstration of preparation of coffee-based beverages, and enjoy a coffee tasting.

We will then return to Santa Marta and drop you off at your hotel after approximately 8 hours.
