Santa Marta Sightseeing Tour
After hotel pickup, we will start our sightseeing tour at the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, recognized as a Shrine of the Homeland by the Colombian government and the final residence of Simón Bolívar.
We will then proceed along the main avenues to see some of Santa Marta's most important buildings and monuments. We will pass through the parks and colonial houses in the old town, culminating at the Cathedral Basilica of Santa Marta, where the remains of Simón Bolívar were interred for a time and which currently holds the remains of Rodrigo Bastidas, the city's founder.
Next, we will visit Santa Marta Bay to discuss the civilizations present before the arrival of the Spaniards in the 16th century, followed by a visit to the Pibe Valderrama Statue, honoring one of Colombia's top football players.
The final stop will be at Taganga, a fishermen's neighbourhood on the coast, where we will end the tour with a stroll along the beach and visit a viewpoint by the sea.
After the tour, we will drop you off back at your hotel.
