Pinzón Island Snorkelling Activity

Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel on Santa Cruz Island. Before starting, snorkeling equipment will be provided, and a brief test will ensure readiness. We will then embark on a boat for a 1.5-hour journey to Pinzón Island, which is largely uninhabited by humans and home to unique species.

Our first stop will be at Penguin Bay, known for its clear waters and biodiversity. Here, participants can swim with sea turtles, white tip sharks, rays, tropical fish, and possibly Galapagos sharks while maintaining a distance of 2 meters (6.5 ft) from the animals.

A brief break will be at Roca Sin Nombre (No Name Rock), a habitat for blue-footed boobies, lava gulls, and sea lions. During the return journey, a lunch on board will be served, featuring chicken or fish with rice and salad. The last stop for snorkeling will be at Bahia La Fe on Santa Cruz's southeast coast, ideal for relaxation and more underwater exploration.

We will return to Puerto Ayora and conclude the day at the dock, approximately 8 hours later.
