Let your senses be set alight on this trip to Montserrat from Santa Susana. Discover the stories that surround this Catalan massif and enter a monastery founded in the year 1025.
Description
We'll collect you at the scheduled time from the different meeting points in Santa Susana and then we'll make our way by bus to Montserrat, the most famous massif monastery in Catalonia.
We'll then change vehicle and hop onto a cog railway which will take us to the monastery of Montserrat, founded in 1025. You'll be able to tour the famous monastery at your own pace, experiencing the unique energy that flows through this place. The mountain is rumored to be hollow with telluric currents within.
Besides the amazing views, we recommend visiting the basilica, home to the black virgin known as "La Maroneta," a symbol of Catalonia.
As we explore the monasteries, we'll uncover why this magical place has connections to UFO sightings, the search for the Holy Grail, and other intriguing facts.
Don't miss the opportunity to eat at local restaurants and enjoy some Catalan cuisine in a distinctive setting.
After visiting Montserrat, we'll descend the massif and return to the bus. We will be back in Santa Susana 9 hours after pickup.
