El Soplao Cave Trip
After hotel pickup in Santander, we will travel to the town of Rionansa. During the journey, admire northern Spain's landscapes of valleys, forests, and mountains.
Upon arrival, we will visit the El Soplao cave, formerly a mine. This Cantabrian mine is recognized as one of the country’s geological wonders.
We will explore the tunnels via a small train, observing a range of stalactites, stalagmites, columns, calcite crystals, and rock formations formed over time.
After our exploration of the El Soplao cave, we will proceed to the Tina Menor viewpoint in Pechón, where you can appreciate the landscape overlooking the Ria Menor estuary.
We will return to Santander hotels 4.5 hours after pickup.
