Picos de Europa & Potes Day Trip

After picking you up from your chosen meeting point, we'll begin our day trip around Cantabria, crossing rivers, forests, and small villages near the La Hermida Gorge.

Our first stop will be the Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana, recognized as one of the four Holy Places of Christianity due to the Lignum Crucis, a significant relic. Following this, we will visit the viewpoint of the San Miguel Hermitage for views of the Picos de Europa.

Next, we'll travel to Fuente Dé, where you will have 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time, ideal for taking the cable car or horse riding in this area.

We will then visit Potes, the capital of the Liébana region, noted for the Infantado Tower, its bridges, and cobbled streets. You will have approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes for lunch in Potes, followed by a short guided walk. We aim to return to the meeting points by 6 to 6:30 pm.

From Santander: pickup at 9 am from your hotel.From Torrelavega: pickup at 9:30 am from the bus stop in front of the Pabellón Municipal La Habana Vieja.

Horseriding in the Picos de Europa

Horse riding is available in the Picos de Europa from June 15 to September 29.
