Picos de Europa & Potes Day Trip

After pickup from your chosen meeting point, we'll start our adventure around Cantabria, crossing rivers, forests, and small villages surrounding the La Hermida Gorge.

The first stop will be the Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana, one of the four Holy Places of Christianity, which houses the Lignum Crucis. After exploring the monastery, we'll visit the San Miguel Hermitage viewpoint for views of the Picos de Europa.

Next, we'll head to Fuente Dé, where you will have 1 hour 30 minutes of free time, which can be used for the Picos de Europa cable car or horse riding.

The following stop is Potes, the capital of the Liébana region, known for the Infantado Tower and cobbled streets. You will have approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes for lunch before a short guided stroll through the village. We will return to the meeting points, arriving between 6 and 6:30 pm.

From Santander: pickup at 9 am from your hotel.From Torrelavega: pickup at 9:30 am from the bus stop in front of the Pabellón Municipal La Habana Vieja.

Horseriding in the Picos de Europa

Horse riding is available in the Picos de Europa only from June 15 to September 29.
