Hiking Details

We'll leaveSantander in the morning and head toFuente Dé, a town in the heart of the Picos de Europa. The journey will take an hour and a half, during which you will admire impressive landscapes of Cantabria, including the Hermida gorge.

Upon arrival atFuente Dé, we'll take a cable car to reach an altitude of 5,980 feet in just 4 minutes. From the Mirador del Cable observation point, you will have exceptional views of the Picos de Europa.

The hiking route will last 4 hours through the Picos de Europa National Park, featuring a 12-kilometre descent towards the village of Espinama. You may see eagles, vultures, and other species along the way, with stops to enjoy the surroundings.

After hiking, we will travel toPotes, a medieval town in a valley. You will have two hours of free time to explore and re-energize with food in a local restaurant.

After this break, we will start our return to Santander, arriving after a total of twelve hours.
