Santander Bay Boat Trip
On the Santander Bay Boat Trip, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of the historic area, learning about local legends, admiring beaches, and seeing iconic monuments of the Cantabrian capital.
At your chosen time, we will meet on the promenade and walk to the quay to start the boat trip around Santander Bay.
During the trip, you will enjoy views while a Spanish-speaking skipper explains the history of various sites. Initially, you will see the renowned Magdalena Palace, built in the early 20th century for King Alfonso XIII.
The tour will proceed to El Sardinero, known for its long beaches, before heading towards Cape Mayor and Santa Marina Island. You will glide along the coastline of other municipalities in the bay, including Loredo and Somo, famous for their extensive sandy beaches surrounded by nature.
We will continue sailing to the ferry docks connecting the Cantabrian capital with several English port cities. The tour will also pass by the Botín Centre, designed by architect Renzo Piano and a symbol of Santander.
After 1 hour of sailing, we will return to the starting point.
