Santander Bay Boat Trip

On the Santander Bay Boat Trip, you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the historic area, learning about local legends and viewing beautiful beaches and iconic monuments of the Cantabrian capital.

At your chosen time, we will meet on the promenade and proceed to the quay to embark on a boat trip around Santander Bay. Throughout the trip, a Spanish-speaking skipper will provide insights into the history of various sites, beginning with the prominent Magdalena Palace, built in the early 20th century for King Alfonso XIII.

The tour will then move to El Sardinero, a renowned neighborhood known for its extensive beaches. Following this, we will visit Cape Mayor and Santa Marina Island and glide along the coastlines of nearby municipalities, including Loredo and Somo, known for their expansive sandy beaches surrounded by nature.

We will continue towards the ferry docks connecting the Cantabrian capital with several English port cities, passing by the Botín Centre, designed by architect Renzo Piano, which serves as a symbol of Santander. After 1 hour of sailing, we will return to the starting point.
