Santander Bay Boat Trip

On the Santander Bay Boat Trip, you'll experience a sightseeing tour of this historic area, learning about local legends and observing beautiful beaches and iconic monuments of the Cantabrian capital.

You will meet at the promenade at your chosen time and walk to the quay to embark on a boat trip around Santander Bay. The tour includes commentary from a Spanish-speaking skipper, who will explain the history behind various sights.

The first sight will be the Magdalena Palace, an early 20th-century building originally a gift for King Alfonso XIII. The tour continues to El Sardinero, known for its exclusive long beaches, and then to Cape Mayor and Santa Marina Island. You will glide along the coastline, passing by the municipalities of Loredo and Somo, recognized for their extensive sandy beaches surrounded by nature.

The route also includes views of the ferry docks connecting the Cantabrian capital with several English port cities and the Botín Centre, designed by architect Renzo Piano, which symbolizes Santander.

After 1 hour of sailing, the trip concludes as you return to the starting point.
