Santander Bay Boat Trip

On our Santander Bay Boat Trip, you'll embark on a sightseeing tour of this historic area, learning about local legends, admiring beautiful beaches, and seeing iconic monuments of the Cantabrian capital.

At your chosen time, we'll meet on the promenade and walk to the quay to set off on a boat trip around Santander Bay.

During our boat trip, you'll enjoy incredible views while the history of various locations is explained by a Spanish-speaking skipper. One of the first sights will be the Magdalena Palace, built in the early 20th century as a gift for King Alfonso XIII.

We'll then continue to El Sardinero, a notable neighbourhood known for its extensive beaches. Next, we will visit Cape Mayor and Santa Marina Island, before gliding along the coast of other nearby municipalities, including Loredo and Somo, recognized for their expansive sandy beaches framed by nature.

Our route will also include the docks of the ferry that links the Cantabrian capital with several English port cities, as well as passing by the Botín Centre, designed by architect Renzo Piano, which has become a symbol of Santander.

After 1 hour of sailing, we'll return to the starting point.
