Santander Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour

The Santander sightseeing bus provides an efficient means to explore the city at your own pace with the option to get on and off as desired.

Route and Stops

The bus operates on a 40-minute route with 9 stops, showcasing key tourist locations from a double-decker open-topped bus. The journey includes recorded commentary in English highlighting significant sites. Notable attractions include Sardinero beach, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Ascension, Puerto Chico, the Maritime Museum, and the Magdalena Palace.

Important: Stop 3 is currently out of service due to construction.

How it Works

The ticket is valid for 24 hours from its first use, allowing unlimited access to the buses during this timeframe. You must select a start date during booking, but the service can be activated within 12 months from this date.

Magdalena Sightseeing Train

The ticket also includes a 20-minute panoramic tour of the Magdalena Peninsula aboard the sightseeing train, where you can view the Magdalena Palace. This trip also includes an audio guide to provide insights about the area.

This includes a return trip on the train and unlimited use of the tourist bus for 24 hours.

Schedule and Timetable

The Santander hop-on hop-off bus operates from 10 am to 7 pm, with departures every 35 minutes on weekends and 75 minutes on weekdays. The Magdalena sightseeing train runs from 10 am to 2 pm and 3:30 pm to 6:20 pm with a frequency of 20 minutes.
