Day Trip Details
We'll set off from Santander in the morning and head to the village of Santoña. After a 45-minute drive, we'll reach this fishing village on the Cantabrian coast.
In Santoña, we'll visit an anchovy factory called Conservas Emilia, where we'll see the manufacturing process of this product and learn about the food preserves industry and its evolution throughout the twentieth century.
Then, we'll head to the port of Santoña, where you can choose to sail on a boat trip around the bay. This cruise lasts 1 hour and 20 minutes, offering views of the coast and marshes of Santoña, a protected natural site for migratory birds. If you prefer not to participate, you can walk around the town.
