At 9 am, we'll meet at the Tourist Information Centre in Alter do Chão before heading to the port for our tour of the Brazilian Amazon.

The tour begins with a circumnavigation of Alter do Chão, sailing around Verde Lake and viewing its 14 springs. A stop at the Enchanted Forest allows for swimming and a 40-minute canoe ride, with opportunities to spot monkeys and sloths.

Next, we'll circle Ilha do Amor (Love Island) and pass Lake Jacundá to reach Lake Mureta, where you can walk along semi-pristine beaches and swim in the Tapajós River, a vital tributary of the Amazon.

We'll cross Lake Jurucuri to arrive at Pindobal Beach, where you will learn about the significance of rubber in the region. At 1 pm, you will have 2 hours for lunch, with recommendations for local huts. After regrouping, we will walk along Piranha Lake, enjoying views of Piraoca Hill.

Then, we will relax on Moca Beach with a selection of fruits. The tour concludes with a visit to Crocodile Lake, where wildlife such as alligators and otters may be seen. Return to the starting point in Alter do Chão is at 7 pm.

What's the boat like?

You'll sail on a boat with four different spaces, equipped for kayaking and paddle surfing, as well as featuring a barbecue and music on board.
