Alter do Chão Full Tour

At 9 am, we will meet at the Tourist Information Centre in Alter do Chão and proceed to the port where a boat will depart for a tour of the Brazilian Amazon.

The tour begins with a sail around Verde Lake, featuring tropical greenery and its 14 springs. We will stop at the Enchanted Forest for a swim and a 40-minute canoe ride, where sightings of monkeys and sloths are possible.

Next, we will circle the Ilha do Amor (Love Island), passing by Lake Jacundá and stopping at Lake Mureta to walk along the beaches and swim in the Tapajós River.

We will cross Lake Jurucuri to reach Pindobal Beach and learn about the region's rubber significance. At 1 pm, enjoy 2 hours of free time for lunch, with recommendations for local huts. After regrouping, we will walk along Piranha Lake to enjoy views of Piraoca Hill.

We will relax on Moca Beach with a selection of fruits before concluding with a cruise on Crocodile Lake, where alligators and otters may be spotted. The tour ends with a drop-off at the starting point in Alter do Chão at 7 pm.
