Explore a unique environment on our Jari Canal Tour as we venture into the Amazon Rainforest.

Jari Canal Tour

Join us at the Tourist Information Centre in Alter do Chão at 9 am. After boarding the boat, we will set off for the Jari Canal nature reserve.

We will sail across Verde Lake and visit the Enchanted Forest via a 40-minute canoe ride. Our next stop is Ilha do Amor (Love Island), followed by a visit to Morro da Piraoca and Piranhas Lake. You will have a chance to swim at Ponta do Cururu.

At Moça Beach, enjoy a fresh fruit snack before proceeding to Crocodile Lake. You will then have a 1-hour break for lunch in Ponta de Pedras. After lunch, we will arrive at Jari Canal, renowned for its giant Victoria Amazonica, iguanas, and numerous parrots. Keep an eye out for alligators on the shore!

On our return to Alter do Chão, enjoy a sunset over the Amazon. We will drop you off at the meeting point at 7 pm.
