Discover the landscapes and culture of Galicia's Atlantic coast with this tour of A Coruña and the Costa da Morte.

A Coruña and Betanzos Trip

At 9:30 am, we'll depart from the Capilla del Pilar in Santiago de Compostela. After a 60-minute journey, we'll arrive in the city of A Coruña. We'll visit the Tower of Hercules, the oldest lighthouse of Roman origin in the world.

Next, we'll enjoy a walking tour of the historical center of A Coruña. We'll explore the monuments and streets around the central Plaza de María Pita: the Church of San Jorge, the Church of Santiago, the Mirador, the Gardens of San Carlos, and Riazor Beach.

After 1 hour 30 minutes free time for lunch, we'll depart A Coruña towards Betanzos, a medieval city recognized as a Historic-Artistic Site. During the guided tour, we'll visit the church of Santa María del Azogue, the church of Santiago, and the temple dedicated to San Francisco. We will appreciate each monument's artistic and patrimonial value and taste the renowned local omelette.

We will return to Santiago de Compostela, arriving at 6:30 pm.
