The stunning landscapes of Cape Finisterre and the beauty of the Costa da Morte coastline will take your breath away. Prepare to discover one of the most idyllic parts of Galicia on this tour from Santiago de Compostela.

Day Trip Details

We'll depart from your chosen meeting point in Santiago de Compostela at the scheduled time. After approximately 30 minutes, we will arrive at the picturesque village of Ponte Maceira, where the local history and its inhabitants will be discussed.

Next, we will travel to the coastal town of Muxia to visit the Virxe da Barca sanctuary, which overlooks the ocean. Here, we will explore local history, legends, and mysteries, including the story of Pedras d'Abalar and Dos Cadrís.

Our route continues to the lighthouse of Cape Finisterre, where you will hear folk tales of ships lost on this coastline, known as "the end of the earth." You will then have 1.5 - 2 hours of free time for lunch in the town of Fisterra.

Post-lunch, we will stop in the village of Muros and then visit the Ézaro waterfall, formed by the Xallas River, which uniquely ends in cascades into the ocean. We will also see the world's largest hórreo in Carnota.

Finally, we'll return to Santiago de Compostela through la Ría de Muros along the famous Costa da Morte.
