The stunning landscapes of Cape Finisterre and the beauty of the Costa da Morte coastline will take your breath away. Prepare to discover one of the most idyllic parts of Galicia on this tour from Santiago de Compostela.

Day Trip Details

We'll depart from your chosen meeting point in Santiago de Compostela at the scheduled time. After about 30 minutes, we'll arrive at the village of Ponte Maceira to learn about its history. Next, we'll head to the coastal town of Muxia to visit the remarkable Virxe da Barca sanctuary, where we will discuss local history, legends, and mysteries. During this visit, we will also cover the history of the Pedras d'Abalar and Dos Cadrís.

Our route continues along the Costa da Morte to the lighthouse of Cape Finisterre, where tales of boat disappearances will be shared. You will have 1.5 - 2 hours of free time for lunch in Fisterra to try local food.

After lunch, we will stop in Muros and walk to the Ézaro waterfall, created by the Xallas River, which flows into the ocean. In Carnota, we will see the world's largest hórreo (granary). After admiring it, we will return to Santiago de Compostela through la Ría de Muros along the Costa da Morte.
