Day Trip Overview

We will convene at the arranged meeting point in Santiago de Compostela to commence our journey towards Fisterra and Muxía. Shall we begin?

Our first destination is the historic Fisterra Lighthouse, which dates back to the mid-1800s. This site also marks the kilometer 0 of the Camino de Santiago, providing a perfect opportunity for photos!

Prepare to enjoy stunning vistas of the Costa da Morte. After an hour of exploration at this viewpoint, we will board the bus to the town of Fisterra, where you will have 1 hour and 15 minutes to relax, grab a meal, or wander. Stroll along the picturesque port, visit the 12th-century Church of Nuestra Señora de las Arenas, and admire the architecture of San Carlos Castle.

Next, we will head to Muxía. Accompanied by our knowledgeable guide, we will explore the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Barca, a site deeply linked to the Camino de Santiago. Here, you will learn about its historical significance and the fascinating legends associated with the large stones adjacent to the sanctuary.

After approximately 6.5 to 7 hours, we will conclude our day trip, returning to our original meeting place.
