Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the designated time in front of the Capilla del Pilar in Santiago. From there, we will travel to Porto.

Upon arrival in Porto, we will begin our tour by exploring the historic center. We will visit the area around the medieval cathedral while our guide shares the history of this location.

Next, we will visit the São Bento station to appreciate its traditional Azulejo ceramic tile decoration, focusing on the tiles in the main foyer depicting various episodes from the city’s history.

Our next stop is the Serra do Pilar, which offers panoramic views of Porto. After taking photos, we will return to the banks of the Douro River. Here, you will have 2 hours of free time for lunch, with several restaurants offering views of the Dom Luís I Bridge.

After lunch, we will enjoy a one-hour cruise on the Douro River to admire Porto from a different perspective. Following the cruise, we will return to Santiago de Compostela, with arrival at the meeting point scheduled 12 hours after pickup.
