Visit one of the most beautiful cities in Portugal on this day trip to Porto. Discover famous bridges over the Douro River and explore the historic old town.

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the indicated time in front of the Capilla del Pilar in the center of Santiago, then head to Porto.

Upon arrival, we will explore the historic center, including the medieval cathedral while our guide shares the history of the area.

Next, we will visit the station of Sao Bento to admire its Azulejo ceramic tile decoration, especially in the main foyer that illustrates various episodes from the city's history.

Our next stop is the Serra do Pilar, offering panoramic views of Porto. After taking photos, we will return to the banks of the Douro River, where you will have 2 hours of free time for lunch. Several restaurants with terraces overlook the Dom Luís I Bridge.

After lunch, enjoy a cruise on the Douro River to admire Porto from a different perspective. The one-hour cruise will conclude before we return to Santiago de Compostela, with arrival at the meeting point scheduled 12 hours after pickup.
