Admire enchanting scenery on our day trip to Galicia's Rías Baixas, visiting Padrón, Arosa Island, Cambados, La Toja, and Combarro. Enjoy a boat trip and taste mussels.
Description
We will pick you up from Rua dos Bautizados, 12 in Santiago de Compostela and head to Padrón, home to the remains of St. James. We'll visit the church dedicated to this saint and the "Pedrón" stone. After a 30-minute tour, we will depart to the Pontevedra estuary where Combarro is located, featuring traditional Galician hórreos. Here, enjoy free time for lunch and a boat ride with mussel tasting.
Next, we'll visit the island of La Toja and its Chapel of the Shells. Afterwards, we will proceed to Cambados, giving you free time to explore this town known for Albariño wine.
Our final stop is the island of Arousa, where you'll have more free time for swimming, drinks, or walking. We will return to the meeting point in Santiago de Compostela after a ten-hour trip.
Boat trip with mussel tasting
You can enhance your experience with a 1 hour 15 minutes boat trip along the Rías Baixas, viewing mussel farms and enjoying a mussel tasting with local wine or soft drinks. During low season (April, May, June, and October), we depart from the port of O Grove, and from marina in Combarro during high season (July to September). Those not participating in the boat trip will have free time in O Grove or Combarro. After the boat trip, we'll return to Santiago de Compostela.
