Rías Baixas Day Trip

After meeting at the indicated time on Rúa dos Bautizados in Santiago de Compostela, we will depart towards Pontevedra, the capital of the province.

Engage in a guided tour of the historic center of Pontevedra, one of the best preserved in Galicia, featuring the Gothic ruins of the Convent of Santo Domingo, the Praza da Ferraría, and the Basilica of Santa María a Maior.

Next, we will travel to the port of Combarro to board a boat. The voyage across the Ría de Pontevedra will showcase coastal landscapes and Tambo Island with its eucalyptus plantations. Our boat cruise includes a wine tasting with mussels.

After returning to Combarro, you will have around 2 hours of free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the Chapel of the Virgen de la Lanzada for panoramic views of the longest beach in Rías Baixas.

Finally, we will conduct a walking tour of Cambados, the capital of Albariño wine, where we will see the Igrexa de San Bieito church and the Pazo de Fefiñáns.

We will return from Cambados to Santiago, arriving approximately 10 hours after the start time.
