Ribeira Sacra & Ourense Tour

We will depart at the scheduled time towards the north of the province, beginning our guided route through Ribeira Sacra, named for the numerous monasteries established during the Middle Ages. Upon arrival, we will board a catamaran for a 1.5-hour cruise through the River Sil canyons, witnessing towering walls reaching nearly 500 meters. Refreshments such as coffee, soft drinks, or a glass of Ribeira Sacra wine will be available during the cruise.

After disembarking, we will visit a viewpoint of the Ribeira Sacra before heading to the Monastery of San Pedro de Rocas, which according to legend, was founded by hermits in the 6th century. Next, we will travel to Ourense, Galicia's thermal capital, where you will have free time for lunch and optional entry to the Cathedral. In the afternoon, we will explore the historic center, known as the 'City of Bridges'.

The tour concludes with a return to the starting point after a duration of eight to ten hours.
