Ribeira Sacra & Ourense Tour

We'll depart at the arranged time towards the north of the province, beginning our guided route through the Ribeira Sacra, a region historically known for its numerous monasteries. Upon arrival, we will board a catamaran for a 90-minute cruise through the River Sil canyons, admiring the towering cliffs and enjoying the available refreshments, including the renowned Ribeira Sacra wine.

After the cruise, we will visit one of the viewpoints of the Ribeira Sacra and the Monastery of San Pedro de Rocas, founded by hermits in the 6th century according to legend. Our next destination will be Orense, the thermal capital of Galicia, where you will have free time for lunch and an option to explore the Cathedral. In the afternoon, we will tour the historic center, known as the 'City of Bridges'.

The day concludes with the return to the starting points between eight and ten hours after the activity begins.

Santiago de Compostela: Meet at the Capilla del Pilar, 6 Avenida Juan Carlos I; returns to this location.Orense: After pickup in Santiago, you can join at the bus stop in front of the Escola Superior de Enxeñería Informática, Avenida Otero Pedrayo; ends at Praza As Burgas.

For operational reasons, we may visit the Monastery of Santo Estevo instead of the Monastery of San Pedro de Rocas.
