Santiago de Cuba Free Tour
At the selected time, we'll meet at the Parque La Placita to start the free walking tour. Participants will discover one of the oldest cities in the country.
We will explore the streets and learn about the history of Santiago de Cuba. Highlights include the facade of Don Diego Velázquez House, one of the first houses built in America by the Spanish.
We will also view the outside of the Emilio Bacardí Museum, which contains an armoury, objects from independentist leaders, paintings, and mummies from various regions.
The tour will include sights like the Lucha Clandestina Museum and the Moncada Prison, providing insights into the 26th of July Movement led by Fidel Castro against Fulgencio Batista's dictatorship.
After a 2-hour route, we will conclude the tour at the Historia 26 de Julio Museum.
