At the indicated time, we'll meet by Santísima Trinidad Church to start this free tour in Santiago de Cuba. We'll explore the streets and learn about the history of Santiago de Cuba. We'll stop by the facade of Don Diego Velázquez House, one of the first houses built in America by the Spanish, revealing parts of the biography of this historical figure.
Additionally, we'll see the outside of the Emilio Bacardí Museum, which houses an armoury, objects belonging to independentist leaders, paintings, and even mummies from various regions.
We will also observe the facades of the Lucha Clandestina Museum and the Moncada Prison. In this area, we'll learn about the 26th of July Movement, led by Fidel Castro against the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista.
