2-Day Trip: Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo + Pisac

What to Expect

Day 1: Cusco - Sacred Valley of the Incas - Aguas Calientes

The tour starts with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We will visit Pisac, enjoying a walking tour through the town and free time at the handicraft market. Afterward, lunch will be in Urubamba before visiting the archeological complex of Ollantaytambo. We will then take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes and check into our hotel for the night.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

After breakfast, we will visit Machu Picchu. The trail offers views of the Urubamba River. A guided tour of the site includes the terraces, staircases, and ceremonial quarters. Lunch will follow at a local restaurant before returning to Cusco by train, arriving between 6 and 7 pm.

Tour Accommodation

The tour includes a 1-night stay with breakfast at one of the following hotels:

Hotel Pickup

Pickup will be between 8 am and 8:30 am from hotels in the historic center of Cusco. For accommodations outside the center, we will meet at the Cathedral door in the Plaza de Armas.

Train Types

Travel will be on panoramic trains with options for economy class (Expedition or Voyager) and first class (Vistadome or The 360º train).

Important Info

If the activity is canceled due to strikes or bad weather, an alternative date will be offered. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund will be provided, except for the non-refundable entrance fee (200 PEN) to Machu Picchu.
