Abode of the Gods Day Trip

Spend an unforgettable day strolling among huge, stone statues on our Abode of the Gods Day Trip. We'll set off from Cusco and stand before sculptures that tower over 30 feet high.

Abode of the Gods Day Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 9 am and head north to the town of Sencca. After approximately 45 minutes of travel, we will arrive at Apukunaq Tianan, the Abode of the Gods.

Upon arrival, you will find yourself amidst a remarkable array of giant sculptures carved into limestone rock. You will explore the Abode of the Gods and learn about its significance and the sculptures. Some sculptures reach heights of up to 33 feet (10 metres).

We will admire the sculptures including the puma, the three-dimensional door, the protective Apu, God Wiracocha, Pachamama, and the viewpoint. From this location, we will enjoy stunning views of the city and surrounding landscape. Our guide will share insights into Andean cosmology and the history of the Inca period.

Finally, we will return to Cusco and conclude the trip in the main square at around 12 noon.
