Aconcagua Park Trip

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and head north from Santiago. After approximately 50 minutes of driving, we stop at the monument to the Chacabuco victory, offering free time for breakfast.

Continuing, we visit the Salto del Soldado, a large ravine where the Aconcagua river flows. Here, a legend speaks of a patriot soldier evading capture by jumping across this canyon.

Next, we cross the border into Argentina, where you can enjoy a traditional drink and empanada, a treat of caramel sandwiched between shortbread biscuits.

We then arrive at Aconcagua Park, where we embark on a two-hour trek around the foot of the highest mountain in the Americas, over 22,000 feet tall, while enjoying the surrounding landscape.

Afterwards, you’ll have free time to eat and regain your strength. We will return to Santiago, stopping at Laguna del Inca lake in Portillo. Local folklore states that the lake was formed by the tears of an Inca prince mourning his bride, with laments said to echo from the water on dark winter nights.

Our tour concludes in the afternoon when we drop you off at your hotel.
