At the appointed time, we will gather at Carr. A Cola de Caballo Km. 1 for our expedition to the Santiago Sierra, where excitement awaits. After a scenic drive lasting about 1.5 hours, we’ll arrive at a secluded natural sanctuary nestled within the Sierra, introducing you to Hydrophobia Canyon, the leading destination in Nuevo León for adventure enthusiasts seeking the thrill of canyoning.
Our journey kicks off from the Chipitín Waterfall, where we’ll make our first descent into this challenging cascade, navigating through exciting natural slides and waterfalls. Here, the flowing water becomes your steadfast ally.
As we continue, we will face various challenges, including cascading waterfalls, sheer rock walls, and vibrant foliage. Prepare to encounter breathtaking waterfalls that rise to a remarkable 18 meters (59 feet).
Throughout our thrilling adventure, we’ll have three pauses for refreshment: first, relishing a delicious breakfast amidst the stunning landscape, followed by a quick snack of chocolate cereal, and concluding with a shared lunch surrounded by the verdant beauty of the region.
In the end, we will return to our starting point, bidding farewell after an action-packed day of 12 to 14 hours.
