Chonta Viewpoint, Tarawasi & Killarumiyoq Private Tour

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your Cusco hotel and start this excursion to Chonta Canyon. On the way, we'll stop in a town called Anta, where you'll have the option to join a guided visit to Killarumiyoq, an Inca archaeological site thought to be dedicated to the moon.

The tour will then leave Anta and head to the village of Limatambo, where you'll have the opportunity to visit the Tarawasi ruins and admire ancient ceremonial stone altars, known as 'usnu'.

After exploring these archaeological sites, the group will head to Chonta Canyon, crossing the Huayronka Bridge. We will make our way to the famous viewpoint, taking in views throughout the trip.

An hour's journey will take us to three vantage points, where you'll witness the famous Andean condor take to the skies. These birds require windy areas to glide with minimum effort.

At the Chonta viewpoint, you'll have 2 hours of free time to enjoy the views and wildlife, and take photos. After the break, we'll return to the vehicle and head back to Cusco, concluding a day full of nature, culture, and history. After 12 hours of activity, we'll arrive back at your hotel.
