Cusco Hot Air Balloon Ride

You'll be picked up at your hotel and trasladed to the site of Sacsayhuamán to start the hot air balloon ride.

First, you will see the inflation process as the hot air rises to fill the balloon. Then, you'll climb into the basket and ascend to 100 meters for an estimated 20 minutes, always secured by ropes anchored to the ground.

From the balloon, you'll have views of the Andean city of Cusco and the fortress of Sacsayhuamán. This site is significant as a defense during the Spanish conquest and is believed to have been a place of worship to the Sun God.

You will also see the Pukamuqu mountain and part of the Andes mountain range. After the flight, you'll enjoy a toast with champagne and a picnic breakfast. Note that this toast tradition occurs after the ride.

Finally, transportation back to your hotel is included.
