With this thrilling hot air balloon ride in Cusco, you'll enjoy the best views of the city and admire the massive Inca fortress of Sacsayhuamán.

Cusco Hot Air Balloon Ride

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Cusco and set off to the site of Sacsayhuamán, where we'll begin the hot air balloon ride.

First, we'll see the inflation process and observe how the hot air rises to inflate the balloon. Then we'll climb into the basket and ascend to 100 meters in the sky for an estimated time of 20 minutes. We will be hooked to giant ropes stuck in the ground at all times.

From the heights, we'll have views of the Andean city of Cusco and the fortress of Sacsayhuamán, an important architectural work of the Inca civilization. It is believed to have served as a defense during the Spanish conquest and as a place of worship to the Sun God.

We'll also have a view of the Pukamuqu mountain and part of the Andes mountain range. After the ride, we'll toast with a glass of champagne and have a picnic breakfast.

At the end of the activity, we'll take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Important

Please note that this activity isn't a balloon ride; it's an ascent in a balloon attached to the ground with ropes.
