Interested in architecture? Explore the historical center of the Chilean capital on foot and admire its main museums and palaces from outside with this free tour of Santiago.

Free Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll begin this free tour of Santiago de Chile at the Plaza de Armas, in front of the Museum of National History. Although we won't enter any museums, palaces, or monuments, we'll admire their architecture from outside and learn their history.

After a brief introduction, we'll stroll toward the Palacio de los Tribunales de Justicia de Santiago and the Former National Congress Building. After seeing these two buildings from the outside, we'll continue with the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art and the Palacio de la Moneda.

Next, we'll arrive at the Larraín Palace before taking the metro to the Barrio París-Londres. We will walk along three notable sites: the Palacio de la Bolsa de Santiago, the Edificio Ariztía, and the San Francisco Church.

Our next stop will be the Teatro Municipal de Santiago, located near the Cerro de Santa Lucía. Afterward, we'll visit Forestal Park to see the National Museum of Fine Arts.

Lastly, after this approximately 2.5-hour journey, we'll conclude this free tour of Santiago in Lastarria, one of the most bohemian neighborhoods in the city.
