Interested in architecture? Explore the historical center of the Chilean capital on foot and admire its main museums and palaces from outside with this free tour of Santiago.

Free Tour Details

The free tour of Santiago de Chile starts at the Plaza de Armas, in front of the Museum of National History. Although we won't enter any museums, palaces, or monuments, we will admire their architecture from outside and learn their history.

After a brief introduction, we'll visit the Palacio de los Tribunales de Justicia de Santiago and the Former National Congress Building. We will continue to the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art and Palacio de la Moneda (La Moneda Palace), the current headquarters of the President of the Republic of Chile.

Next, we will arrive at the Larraín Palace to admire its Neo-Rococo and Art Nouveau architecture. We'll take the metro to the Barrio París-Londres and explore notable monuments: Palacio de la Bolsa de Santiago, Edificio Ariztía, and San Francisco Church.

Our next stop will be the Teatro Municipal de Santiago, near the Cerro de Santa Lucía. Finally, we will head to Forestal Park to admire the facade of the National Museum of Fine Arts, concluding our approximately 2.5-hour journey in Lastarria, one of the most bohemian neighborhoods in Santiago.
