3-Day Tour
Day 1: Cusco - Santa María - Santa Teresa
At 6 am, we'll depart from Cusco to the Sacred Valley, passing by Chinchero, Urubamba, and Ollantaytambo to Puerto de Málaga. Then, a 3-hour bike tour to Santa María follows. After lunch, those interested can go rafting on the Vilcanota River, then we proceed to Santa Teresa for the night.
Day 2: Santa Teresa - Aguas Calientes
After breakfast, we'll do a zipline circuit and take a 3-hour walk to Hidroeléctrica for lunch. A subsequent 3-hour trek along train tracks leads to Aguas Calientes, where we will have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
After breakfast, we’ll visit Machu Picchu based on entry schedules. Option to take a bus to the site; if Huayna Picchu tickets are pre-purchased, a climb is possible. We'll have a 2-hour tour of Machu Picchu. After lunch in Aguas Calientes, we will return to Cusco via the train to Ollantaytambo, followed by a bus to Regocijo Square in Cusco.
4-Day Tour
Day 1: Cusco - Santa María
At 6 am, transfer to Malaga Pass for a 3-hour bike tour to Santa María with views of Andean and jungle ecosystems. Overnight accommodation is provided, with optional rafting available.
Day 2: Santa María - Santa Teresa
Post-breakfast, a hike along Inca trails will lead us through plantations. Lunch with a local family precedes a visit to Cocalmayo hot springs, followed by dinner and overnight in Santa Teresa.
Day 3: Santa Teresa - Aguas Calientes
Breakfast is followed by optional ziplining. A 3-hour hike to Hidroeléctrica for lunch follows, then a 2-hour trek to Aguas Calientes for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu
Depending on entry time, a 2.5-hour uphill hike leads to Machu Picchu. A 2.5-hour guided tour occurs, followed by free time to explore nearby sites before returning by train to Ollantaytambo and bus back to Cusco.
