4-Day Machu Picchu Tour
Day 1: Cusco - Abra Malaga - Santa Maria
At the designated hour, we will collect you from your accommodation in Cusco and head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be at the town of Chinchero, where picturesque views of the Vilcabamba and Vilcanota mountain ranges will captivate your senses.
The journey will continue to the Ollantaytambo village. Next, we’ll ascend to the Abra Malaga Pass, where you will gear up for a bicycle descent to the village of Santa Maria. During the ride, we will pause at the Inca site of Huamanmarca for lunch.
Your day will conclude at a centrally located two-star hostel in Santa Maria. Later, in the afternoon, prepare for an exhilarating rafting experience on the Blanco River. Following this adventure, we will return to the hostel for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 2: Santa Maria - Quellomayo - Santa Teresa
Post breakfast at the Santa Maria hostel, we’ll embark on a trek along the original Inca trail linking Machu Picchu to Vilcabamba, which was once the last Inca capital. This approximately 3-hour journey will offer views of diverse crops such as bananas, coca, yucca, and coffee.
We will take a lunch break in the village of Quellomayo. After refueling, we’ll proceed with a further 3.5-hour hike alongside the Vilcanota River until we reach our centrally located hotel in Santa Teresa, where dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay.
Day 3: Santa Teresa - Hidroélectrica - Aguas Calientes
After enjoying breakfast in the hotel, we’ll depart from Santa Teresa to experience a thrilling 4 zip-line circuit. Following this, we will make our way to Hidroeléctrica for lunch. Once we’ve regained our energy, a 3-hour hike will take us to a hotel in Aguas Calientes, where dinner and overnight accommodation await.
Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
On our final day, we'll rise early and begin our trek through the jungle to Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes. After a light breakfast en route, we will embark on a guided exploration of the archaeological landmark of Machu Picchu, the fabled Inca city!
Upon concluding our visit to Machu Picchu, we will start a 3-hour trek back to Hidroeléctrica. From there, a drive will return you to your accommodation in Cusco, with an expected arrival time around 8 PM.

The prices listed are per adult in a double room.
Important Information
In the case that the activity is cancelled due to strikes or poor weather conditions, we will offer an alternative date for the tour. If rescheduling is not feasible, a full refund will be provided, excluding the entrance fee to Machu Picchu (approximately 200 PEN), which is non-refundable.
