Machu Picchu Tour Package: 4 days

Day 1: Cusco - Abra Malaga - Santa Maria

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Cusco and drive to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing through the village of Chinchero for views of the Vilcabamba and Vilcanota mountain ranges. We will then proceed to the village of Ollantaytambo and continue to the Abra Malaga Pass, where we will bike to the village of Santa Maria, including lunch at the Inca site of Huamanmarca. The day ends at a centrally located two-star hostel in Santa Maria, followed by an afternoon of rafting on the Blanco River and dinner in the hostel.

Day 2: Santa Maria - Quellomayo - Santa Teresa

After breakfast at the hostel, we will trek along the original Inca trail for about 3 hours, observing various plantations. Lunch will be in the village of Quellomayo. We will then continue hiking for another 3.5 hours along the Vilcanota River to a hotel in Santa Teresa, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 3: Santa Teresa - Hidroélectrica - Aguas Calientes

After breakfast, we will participate in a 4 zip-line circuit, followed by lunch at Hidroeléctrica. We will then hike for 3 hours to our hotel in Aguas Calientes, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

On the last day, we will depart early from Aguas Calientes for a trek to Machu Picchu. After a brief breakfast, we'll take a guided tour of the archaeological site. Post-visit, we will trek for 3 hours back to Hidroeléctrica and return by road to Cusco, arriving around 8 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes 3 nights of accommodation with breakfast. The accommodations are as follows:

Santa Maria: Hostal Doña Elena or similar.Santa Teresa: Monte Villa Hotel or similar.Aguas Calientes: Killa Inn Hotel, Quetzal Hotel or similar.

Prices are per adult in a double room.

If the activity is cancelled due to strikes or adverse weather, an alternative date will be offered. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be provided, excluding the entrance fee to Machu Picchu (approx. 200 PEN), which is non-refundable.
