On this private excursion from Cusco, we will visit the famous salt mines of Maras, the circular terraces of Moray, and the community of Misminay in the Peruvian Andes.

At the designated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco and begin our excursion to three key attractions of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

After introductions, we will head to the town of Maras, known for its colonial façade houses. We will visit the famous salt mines and salt ponds, dating back to Inca times.

After learning about the salt's properties, we will proceed to the indigenous community of Misminay for a welcome snack. Here, we will learn about local life through agricultural and textile tasks, followed by lunch, which includes a starter, main course, and drink.

Next, we will hike to a viewpoint overlooking the archaeological center of Moray, situated at nearly 11,500 feet (3,500 meters) above sea level, featuring an amphitheater of circular platforms. We will share insights about its role during the Inca Empire.

Upon returning, we will enjoy a massage with Maras salt. Community members will explain its health benefits while we experience a medicinal foot bath with these salts and various herbs.

After 6 hours, we will conclude the day trip back at your hotel in Peru.
