Moray Ruins & Maras Salt Mines Tour Itinerary

Pick up from your hotel is at 8:20 am. Depart Cusco and travel into the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

The tour first visits Maras, known for its salt pans, or salineras, which have been used since pre-Inca times. The salt evaporation ponds, arranged in terraces down the canyon, present a striking view from the viewpoint.

Next, you will explore Moray, home to mysterious Inca ruins with circular agricultural terraces, known as andenes. These are believed to have been used to create microclimates for crop cultivation. You will have an hour to explore the area.

The tour concludes with a return to Cusco's historic centre, dropping you off near Plaza de Armas at 2:30 pm.
