Explore one of the colorful mountains of Peru with this hiking tour through Pallay Punchu, a notable attraction in the Cusco area.
Trip Description
Pickup at your hotel in Cusco will occur at the designated time for the trekking route through the mountain of the Seven Colors. After 1.5 hours of travel, we will stop at a restaurant in Collca for a breakfast buffet. Following this, we will continue for 2 hours through the Laguni Lagoon, reaching Layo, ideal for photos.
From Layo, a 15-minute drive will take us to the starting point for the hike to Pallay Punchu, lasting between 45 minutes to 2 hours. The name translates to "poncho of colors," reflecting its vibrant hues.
During the hike, we will view the Pallay Punchu, Pasñawarcuna, Apu Tagllo, and Condorsllana mountains. The highest point, Condor Sayana, stands at 4,850 metres (nearly 16,000 feet) above sea level, offering expansive views of the Layo and Laguni districts and the Tres Cañones mountains of Suykutambo. This is a great opportunity for photography.
After the Pallay Punchu visit, we will return to Cusco, making a lunch buffet stop at Collca. The entire trip lasts 14 hours, concluding with greetings at Plaza Regocijo.
