On this captivating tour of Santiago de los Caballeros' museums, we will explore the city's history, tradition, and art through its prominent exhibitions.

Half-Day Tour (3 hours and 15 minutes)

We will collect you from your hotel and explore Santiago de los Caballeros' museums. Our first stop is the Centro Cultural Eduardo León Jimenes (Centro León), showcasing contemporary works on ecology and local history.

Next, we'll visit the historic center of Santiago for a 35-minute guided tour of its principal landmarks and enjoy a tasting of quipes at Bader Bar. Following this, we will explore the Fortaleza de San Luis and the Murals of Santiago in Los Pepines.

We will conclude at the Museum of the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration for a 360º panoramic view of the city before returning to your hotel.

Full-Day Tour (7 hours)

After hotel pickup, we’ll visit Tabacalera La Aurora, the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic. Following this, we will go to the Eduardo León Jimenes Cultural Center and enjoy a traditional meal at a local bar.

We will continue our exploration of the historic center of Santiago, visit the Fortaleza de San Luis, the Murals of Los Pepines, and the Museum of the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration, including another quipe tasting.

After seven hours, we will transport you back to your hotel.

On Mondays, the Centro Cultural León Jimenes and the Museo de la Fortaleza de San Luis are closed. We will visit the Botanical Garden instead.
