If you're staying in Cusco, you can visit one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World with our train to Machu Picchu, experiencing the Andes.

Description

When booking, you can choose your departure station in Cusco:

Wanchaq Station: 5:10 am, 12:30 pm, 4:30 pmSan Pedro Station: 6:40 am, 7:30 amPoroy Station: 6:40 am, 8:25 am

If departing from Wanchaq Station, you will be taken by bus to Ollantaytambo, where you will transfer to the train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. The train journey lasts between 3 hours 30 minutes and 4 hours.

You can choose the type of train for your journey to Machu Picchu:

Expedition Train

The Expedition train option offers a spectacular route with large windows for impressive scenery views.

Vistadome Train

The Vistadome train features panoramic windows and ceilings, providing a unique experience with recorded commentary about the sights along the route.

Rainy season

From January to April, train services from Cusco are limited. During these months, you can book trips from Ollantaytambo.

Limited availability

This tour is in high demand, leading to limited ticket availability. It is recommended to book as far in advance as possible. Official train tickets will be sent within 72 hours after booking.
