Trip to La Paz & Salar de Uyuni

Join us on this 3-day trip from Cusco to Salar de Uyuni, one of Bolivia's most impressive landscapes. Explore La Paz, El Alto, and the world's largest salt flat!

Tour Details

Day 1: Night Bus from Cusco to Puno

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to travel to the terminal for a night bus to Puno, on the coast of Lake Titicaca. The bus journey will last 7 hours with reclining seats.

Day 2: Puno – La Paz – Uyuni

Upon arriving in Puno in the morning, you'll have a few hours to rest, have breakfast at the terminal's cafe, or use the available bathrooms and showers. We'll then take a sightseeing bus for an 8-hour journey to La Paz.

In La Paz, you will have a free afternoon to explore the city and El Alto. At night, we’ll board a sleeper bus for a 10-hour journey to Uyuni.

Day 3: Salar de Uyuni

After arriving in Uyuni in the morning, you can have breakfast at a cafe and utilize the available restrooms and showers. After a few hours of rest, we’ll visit the Train Cemetery for about 1.5 hours. Next, we’ll head to Colchani for access to Salar de Uyuni, passing artisanal workshops and a rustic salt processor.

We will visit Ojos del Salar and the Hotel Sal de Playa Blanca museum, followed by Isla Incahuasi to see marine rock fossils and giant cacti. After a spectacular sunset in the salt flat, we'll return to Uyuni. The tour concludes at the bus station or your drop-off location after a 9-hour tour.

Additional Info

This tour includes a pickup service in Cusco's historical center. If your hotel is outside this area, we’ll meet you at the Terminal Terrestre Cusco, located at Avenida de la Vía de Evitamiento, 429.

The bus from Cusco to Puno departs at 10 pm. At the end of the tour, we recommend either staying in Uyuni or reserving a bus back to Cusco departing after 8 pm.
