Discover the ancient Roman city of Italica in Santiponce, near Seville, through this guided tour. This English language activity provides an opportunity to explore important archaeological ruins.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the entrance to the ruins of Italica, located in Santiponce, approximately ten minutes outside Seville. We will enter this archaeological site, the birthplace of Emperor Trajan, to learn about its history.

Participants will learn about the Emperor and the city's significance for the Iberian Peninsula. A professional guide, specialized in ancient history, will show essential locations known as 'Little Rome', including the theatre and original mosaics, which are well preserved.

The guided tour lasts around 1.5 - 2 hours and concludes back at the meeting point.
