Day 1: Departure from Barreirinhas to Baixa Grande

Your adventure begins bright and early, as our team will collect you from your accommodation between 2:45 and 3 am to kick off this remarkable two-day hiking experience.

We'll navigate the waterways on a ferry that crosses into the scenic realm of the national park, marking the start of our trek. Over the course of seven hours, we will traverse breathtaking trails amidst expansive sand formations, leading us to the quaint village of Baixa Grande. Here, you'll have the opportunity to connect with a welcoming local family who will host you for the evening.

Day 2: Baixa Grande to Atins

Following a hearty breakfast, we will continue our trek through the park, taking in the spectacular views of crystal-clear lagoons and rolling dunes, culminating at the confluence of the Rio Negro. This portion of our journey will last approximately three hours.

Upon reaching our destination, a comfortable 4x4 vehicle will be ready to transport you to Atins, where we anticipate arriving around 11 am. You will be dropped off at your preferred location within the village.

Lodging

Included in this experience is one night’s lodging with breakfast, where you will reside in a hammock in the home of a local family, offering a genuine glimpse into the area's culture and hospitality.
