2 Day Hike from Barreirinhas to Atins

Day 1: Barreirinhas - Baixa Grande

Between 2:45 and 3 am, we will pick you up from your hotel to start this two-day trek from Barreirinhas to Atins.

We will board a ferry that will take us across the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park to start the hike. For seven hours, we will walk along trails through sand dunes until we reach the village of Baixa Grande, where we will meet a local family and spend the night.

Day 2: Baixa Grande - Atins

After breakfast, we will resume the trekking route through the park, visiting freshwater lagoons and dunes until we reach the mouth of the Rio Negro. The hike will take around three hours.

At the end of the route, a 4x4 vehicle will take you to Atins. We will arrive in the village by 11 am and drop you at your chosen location.

Accommodation
