2 Day Hike from Barreirinhas to Atins

Day 1: Barreirinhas - Baixa Grande

We will pick you up from your hotel between 2:45 and 3 am to begin the trek. A ferry will take us across the park to the starting point of our hike. We will walk for seven hours along trails through the sand dunes, reaching the village of Baixa Grande, where we will stay overnight with a local family.

Day 2: Baixa Grande - Atins

After breakfast, we will continue trekking through the park, visiting freshwater lagoons and dunes, until we reach the mouth of the Rio Negro. This segment will take around three hours. A 4x4 vehicle will be waiting to transport you to Atins, where we will arrive at 11 am and drop you off at your desired location.
